Carlo Ancelotti addressed the media in the Coliseum press room to review Real Madrid's victory against Getafe in LaLiga matchday 33: "Our main objective was to secure three points, and we achieved that with a highly dominant first half. However, in the second half, we encountered more difficulties as Getafe increased their pressure, making it challenging for us to maintain possession of the ball."
"It's evident that in recent matches, we've been more defensively solid, though we're still missing some precision in attack. We performed better in the first half, but in the second, we needed to be more effective in our counter-attacks."
Injuries to Camavinga and Alaba
"We will evaluate their conditions tomorrow, but both Camavinga and Alaba are dealing with muscle problems in their legs, so it's unlikely they will be available for Saturday. The only potential option for Saturday is Fran García."
Arda Güler
"He played in a central role and handled it effectively, delivering an excellent performance with impressive quality and composure. It's a formation we haven't used often. In a 4-4-2, he struggles to play centrally or only on the inside right. However, in a 4-3-3, he excels in that position because he works hard. He lacks a bit of aggression in duels, but his overall quality is outstanding, not just in scoring but in his complete gameplay. His future might be more suited to that role rather than as a forward. It may seem unconventional now, but he could develop into a pivot player, given his exceptional ability in building play."
The Copa del Rey Final
"It's a final, and they might be the favorites. Still, anything can happen in a final. We could opt for a 4-4-2 with six midfielders and no striker. We must defend strongly, and I'm confident we'll do so while also generating opportunities on the counter."
Endrick
"He had two opportunities. He couldn't have handled the first one better, but on the second, he might have been offside, and he shouldn't make those mistakes. He's young and needs to learn, so he must shoot as accurately as possible and avoid unnecessary theatrics. Football doesn't have room for drama."
Brahim as an Option for the Copa Final
"He's a viable option. He had a dip in form recently, but he's bounced back strongly. He didn't play much against Athletic Club, yet he performed well. Today, his display was comprehensive in every aspect."
Could Rodrygo's Single Goal in the Last Three Months Affect His Selection for the Final?
"From a statistical standpoint, he needs to play because after such a dry spell, he's due for a goal. He always delivers in big games, and I have full confidence in him."
