Chelsea are monitoring some of Europe's top centre-backs and attackers to secure deals before their participation in this summer's FIFA Club World Cup.
Anticipating another active summer at Stamford Bridge, Chelsea are focusing on acquiring a forward, a winger, and a central defender.
Sky Sports News reported earlier this month that Ipswich's Liam Delap is under serious consideration, along with Napoli's Victor Osimhen, Eintracht Frankfurt's Hugo Ekitike, RB Leipzig's Benjamin Sesko, and Canada's Jonathan David.
The club is also eyeing wingers such as Manchester United's Alejandro Garnacho, Borussia Dortmund's Jamie Gittens, and Athletic Club's Nico Williams.
However, Chelsea are not pursuing AC Milan's Rafael Leao.
Leading Chelsea's list for centre-backs are Premier League talents like Bournemouth's Dean Huijsen, Everton's Jarrad Branthwaite, and Crystal Palace's Marc Guehi, as the club seeks to finalize transfers quickly.
Due to their involvement in the FIFA Club World Cup, Chelsea aim to sign players before their first match on June 16.
The club's owners are highly committed to the tournament.
Chelsea plan to utilize the special early transfer window from June 1 to 10.
