The Boston Celtics fell to the Indiana Pacers tonight in OT, 135-132. This marks the first loss of the season for Boston.
The Celtics didn’t look good all game, except a portion of the second half where they overcame a 24 point deficit, which made the game seem like it was up for grabs.
However, the C’s poor shooting was their downfall. While Jayson Tatum led the team with 37 points, eight rebounds, four assists and four steals, he only shot 5-18 from deep.
His co-star, Jaylen Brown, did even worse. Even though he had 25 points, he only made one three of his 11 attempts. His abysmal shooting is what cost them the game. If he hit two more, they would’ve won.
The Celtics will try to bounce back with their next game against the Charlotte Hornets on Friday, November 1st, at 7pm EST.
