One player who has been unable to crack JJ Redick's rotation in recent games has been James' son, Bronny James. After making a three-minute cameo in LA's season-opener, Bronny has been relegated to bench duty over the past two games.

Following the conclusion of the Lakers' six-game road trip, Bronny is set to join Los Angeles' G League affiliate, the South Bay Lakers.

There are precious few chances for Bronny to garner playing time before his odyssey into G League play. Monday's match between the Lakers and the Suns was an opportunity for the 20-year-old newcomer.
