The New York Red Bulls may stick with the same lineup from their recent win against DC United, as Roald Mitchell, Dylan Nealis, Felipe Carballo, and Lewis Morgan are still sidelined due to injuries.

However, Sandro Schwarz might tweak the attack, with Mohammed Sofo aiming for a starting role after scoring his fifth goal of the season as a substitute in that match. Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting will persist as the forward, having scored seven goals in 15 MLS games this season.

Cameron Harper and captain Emil Forsberg will be crucial in supporting the striker, with Peter Stroud and Daniel Edelman maintaining their midfield partnership in the 4-2-3-1 formation.

Charlotte FC could also opt for an unchanged lineup following their weekend victory, but defender Tim Ream will be absent due to injury, along with Jahlane Forbes, Idan Toklomati, Souleyman Doumbia, Brandon Cambridge, Nathan Byrne, and Nimfasha Berchimas.

Patrick Agyemang will lead the attack, having reached seven goals this season with his brace in Saturday's win, and Wilfried Zaha poses a threat on the wing.

Liel Abada and Kerwin Vargas will vie for the remaining attacking position, with Pep Biel providing midfield support alongside Brandt Bronico and Ashley Westwood, who has recorded four goals and seven assists in 14 MLS appearances this season.

New York Red Bulls possible starting lineup:

Coronel; Duncan, Hack, Parker, Valencia; Stroud, Edelman; Harper, Forsberg, Sofo; Choupo-Moting

Charlotte FC possible starting lineup:

Kahlina; Scardina, Malanda, Privett, Marshall-Rutty; Biel, Westwood, Bronico; Vargas, Agyemang, Zaha
