The French team officially released an announcement, announcing Marcus Thuram's injury information. Due to a left ankle injury, Marcus Thuram will miss the two games against Croatia.

With a left ankle injury, the Inter Milan striker will be unable to participate in the Nations League doubleheader against Croatia on March 20 and 23.
Summoned by Didier Deschamps as one of the twenty-four players selected for the Nations League quarterfinals against Croatia, Marcus Thuram (photo) reported to the National Football Center in Clairefontaine (Yvelines) on Monday afternoon.
The Inter Milan (Italian Serie A) striker was examined by Dr. Franck Le Gall before undergoing tests.
Hampered by recurring pain in his left ankle, Marcus Thuram will not be able to participate in the matches scheduled for Thursday, March 20 in Split (8:45 p.m., live on TF1) and Sunday, March 23 at the Stade de France against Croatia (8:45 p.m., live on TF1).
Didier Deschamps has therefore decided to release him to his club. The coach is currently relying on a group of twenty-three players.
The 27-year-old Marcus Thuram is currently worth €75 million. So far this season, the French striker has played 38 times for Inter Milan in various competitions, including 31 starts, scored 16 goals and sent 4 assists.
