According to reports, Edin Džeko, whose current contract with Fenerbahce expires at the end of this month, has contacted two Serie A clubs.
Italian media Calciomercato gave more specific information. The two clubs are Como and Bologna, both of which are in the upper middle of the league this season.
Džeko bid farewell to Fenerbahce Club, teammates and fans through social media, thanking everyone for their family-like support in the past two years. Although he did not win the dream trophy, he was proud to wear the team's jersey. Fenerbahce praised Džeko for not only scoring goals and serving as captain, but also leading the team in a way that few people can do, saying that he will always be in the hearts of fans.
In terms of data, Edin Džeko played 53 times in all competitions in Fenerbahce 24/25 season, scored 25 goals in 23/24 season, and scored 21 goals in 24/25 season, scoring more than 20 goals for two consecutive seasons.
The Bosnian veteran will be willing to accept a one-year contract to join his third team in Serie A.
