Liverpool vs Wolverhampton Wanderers

Doubts: Strand Larsen 25%、Traoré 75%

Latest News: Jorgen Strand Larsen (muscle) will only return to full training on Saturday, so the forward looks set to miss the trip to Liverpool and return in Gameweek 26 instead. Hwang Hee-chan is also sidelined for the next 2/3 games, having come off with hamstring discomfort in the cup win over Blackburn Rovers, while Sasa Kalajdzic (knee), Yerson Mosquera (knee), Leon Chiwome (knee) and Enso Gonzalez (knee) remain out. Vitor Pereira will likely be tempted to stick with the same core group of players that saw off Aston Villa but he has Joao Gomes back available after suspension, so the Wolves boss has a welcome selection headache after Jeanricner Bellegarde turned in an excellent showing in an unusual central midfield role for him. Bellegarde could be pushed forward to accommodate Gomes but that would mean Pablo Sarabia dropping out, which would again be a harsh call. Further muddying the waters is the arrival of Marshall Munetsi, a box-to-box midfielder who could be preferred to Bellegarde and Sarabia after an eye-catching cameo in the FA Cup. Another deadline-day recruit, Nasser Djiga, may put pressure on Matt Doherty eventually but after a clean sheet against the Villans, the Irishman may keep his place for now.

Liverpool

Out:Gomez、Morton

Doubts: Gakpo 75%

Banned:Jones

Latest News: Joe Gomez (hamstring) and Tyler Morton (shoulder) are definitely sidelined, while Cody Gakpo (knock) is a "bit of a doubt" after injury enforced his substitution in the midweek Merseyside derby. The Dutchman, indeed, was not spotted in team training by reporters on site on Friday. The Reds will be missing another player at Anfield on Sunday after Curtis Jones was sent off for two bookable offences against Everton, although the midfielder will be back for the second Double Gameweek 25 fixture against Aston Villa. Trent Alexander-Arnold (thigh) returned to action in Wednesday's draw with the local rivals, getting the final 30 minutes as a substitute. Arne Slot said this was the plan all along, and the right-back will train with his teammates in the run-up to Wolves' visit - potentially with a view to returning to the starting XI at the expense of Conor Bradley. Wolves and Villa are matches two and three of a five-league-game run that Liverpool have to negotiate in the space of a fortnight, so we will surely see Slot use his squad in Gameweeks 25-27. You could see Kostas Tsimikas getting one of the next two games at left-back, for instance, while Jones could come into the reckoning at Villa Park. Gakpo's knock may force Slot's hand up top anyway, with Darwin Nunez and Diogo Jota tussling for his place. It was Darwin who was brought on for Gakpo at Goodison Park and he'll be more match-sharp than his Portuguese teammate, so the betting money would be on the Uruguayan. Both players could feature in the same XI, of course, should their manager be willing to use Darwin or Jota on the left flank. Harvey Elliott is a possibility in midfield should fresh legs be needed but most of the regulars did have a breather as recently as last weekend in the cup defeat to Plymouth Argyle.
