After parting ways with general manager Tom Telesco and head coach Antonio Pierce last week, the Las Vegas Raiders are searching for their replacements.

In their quest to replace Pierce, the Raiders have already begun interviewing head-coach candidates. Las Vegas has reportedly interviewed or requested to interview seven coaches thus far.

That list includes Detroit Lions offensive coordinator Ben Johnson, Lions defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn, Kansas City Chiefs defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo, Baltimore Ravens offensive coordinator Todd Monken, former New York Jets head coach Robert Saleh, former Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll and Denver Broncos defensive coordinator Vance Joseph.

The firing of Pierce came as no surprise, but it was at least mildly surprising to see the Raiders part ways with Telesco, who failed to figure out the quarterback situation in 2024 but had a strong first draft.

But we certainly can't say Telesco's firing was shocking. With new minority owner Tom Brady having a big say in the direction the Raiders are going moving forward, it was always possible Las Vegas would clean house and start off fresh, which is exactly what they did.

"I want Tom to have a huge voice. No question about it," owner Mark Davis said last month. "It's part of building the infrastructure of the organization, which is something that we didn't have... a football person on that side of it that's not a coach or a general manager, but somebody who can oversee the whole picture.

"And I believe Tom, in time, will be the person who can do that."

Things were quiet on the general manager interview front last week, but Las Vegas has now begun putting in requests to interview candidates for that role as of Tuesday morning.
