Real Madrid will be looking to sign at least one central defender in 2025. With David Alaba and Antonio Rüdiger both over 30, it's likely they'll bring in another player, possibly a younger option like Vitor Reis, who has already been linked in recent months.

Reis is the latest in a line of highly-rated Brazilian teenagers that Real Madrid have shown an interest in, although signing him from Palmeiras would be a challenge. Florian Plettenburg says Arsenal and Chelsea are now in the running for the 18-year-old, who is likely to be a big investment.

Real Madrid might not see the need to sign Reis now that Raul Asencio has emerged, and they already have players like Joan Martinez and Jacobo Ramon on their books. Both are well-liked by the first team setup. Even so, he'd still be a useful addition to the team, both now and in the future.
