Willian, also known as 'Messinho', put pen to paper on a Chelsea contract during the summer transfer window as he agreed to move to Stamford Bridge from Palmeiras for a fee that could rise to £56 million ($71m). Despite the transfer being agreed, the youngster will only be able to move to the Premier League next summer when he turns 18.
The young Brazilian, who is predominantly a winger, is comfortable playing in multiple positions in the attack as claimed by his agent Andre Cury. The player's representative also revealed the position where the Blues want him to play once he formally joins them in 2025.
Speaking to reporters, Willian's agent said, "He can adapt to any style of play. Chelsea is a club that sees Estevao playing as a No.10. For us that is important. He can develop even more playing in the middle."
The teenager, who made his debut as a substitute in Brazil's 1-0 win over Ecuador on Friday, will be next seen in action on September 11 as the Selecao take on Paraguay.
