Manchester United take on Leicester City at old Trafford on Sunday afternoon and Caleb Okoli has labelled the tie an important Premier League fixture.
After ten matches in the Premier League, Steve Cooper's Foxes are fifteenth in the standings with ten points, while United sit thirteenth with twelve points.
With the exception of the 1-1 draw at Ipswich Town last weekend, Okoli has started all the matches played by Leicester City in all competitions since he was a non-playing substitute at Fulham on August 24.
Leicester City would be seeking revenge on Sunday, having lost 5-2 to Manchester United in their last visit to Old Trafford in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup on October 30.
Looking ahead to the upcoming clash with the Red Devils, Okoli noted that the Foxes can gain valuable insights from the way the cup game unfolded.
The former Italy U21 international of Nigerian descent is impressed with the options Manchester United caretaker coach Ruud van Nistelrooy will have at his disposal in the forward positions.
Okoli highlighted that Leicester City have to be fully alert to the threat posed by the likes of Joshua Zirkzee, Marcus Rashford, Alejandro Garnacho and Rasmus Højlund.
"The result of the last game in Manchester will of course help us to improve and be better for the next game, " Okoli said to Leicester City's official website.
"We will be more prepared for the next game, for sure. Going up against them after a week will help us to know how they are playing and their style of play better."
The Leicester City number 5 continued: "We see they have great players and they are a very attacking team with good wingers and attacking players.
"From that game, I think we know that we have to keep alert in our defending and then we have to keep doing our work and [focus on] our playing style. Hopefully, we can go and get a result."
Okoli has been named in Italy's latest squad for the UEFA Nations League matches against Belgium and France and will be cap-tied to his country of birth if he makes his senior debut during the final international break of 2024.
