Juventus have announced they have parted ways with midfielder Paul Pogba.
The French World Cup winner has been banned from September 2023 for a failed doping test. He was initially banned for four years, which was later reduced to 18 months.
As he looks to get his career back on track, the club announced on Friday that they will part ways by mutual consent on November 30, 2024.
"My time at Juventus has come to an end. I was honoured to wear the Juventus shirt and to share so many special memories together," Pogba said in a statement.
"I cherish the memories we created. They last forever. Even in the toughest moments of the past year, your support has been crucial and I want to thank Juventus fans around the world for their sympathy.
"I have had the pleasure of experiencing so many great moments with my teammates over the years and I wish them all the best for the future. " "I am looking forward to the next chapter of my career and to taking to the pitch with my next club. ”
Pogba is now free to train with his new club in January 2025 and can play in official matches until March 2025.
It seems that clubs in Europe and Major League Soccer are interested in signing him.
During his time in Turin, Pogba made 190 appearances for the Italian club, scoring 34 goals and providing 41 assists. In 2016, Pogba returned to Manchester United for a transfer fee of 105 million euros. After spending 6 years at Old Trafford, Pogba returned to the Zebras as a free agent. But after returning, Pogba only played 12 times for the team.
