The nominees for the 2025 Ballon d'Or will be unveiled on August 7. This announcement includes shortlists for all trophies at the ceremony, scheduled for September 22 at the Théâtre du Châtelet.

The shortlists feature 30 male and 30 female players for the men's and women's Ballon d'Or, along with nominees for the Kopa Trophy (best under-21 player), Yachine Trophy (best goalkeeper), and Johan Cruyff Trophy (best coach).

From the 2025 edition, all trophies are now available for both genders to promote equality. Winners will be revealed at the ceremony on September 22, earlier than in previous years.
