Thomas Frank has confirmed that Aaron Hickey will be part of the Brentford squad for their final-day match against Wolves on Sunday.

The 22-year-old full-back has been sidelined by a hamstring injury for more than 18 months, with his last first-team appearance for the Bees in a 2-0 win over Chelsea on October 28, 2023.

However, Hickey has been involved with the club's B Team and scored in a 6-1 win over Tottenham in the Robert Rowan Invitational earlier this week.

"Aaron Hickey will be involved in the squad on Sunday," said Frank during his press conference on Friday.

"[I'm] very pleased for him. He’s worked very hard, and this is a little bonus before he goes into the summer."
