Newly crowned Europa League champions Tottenham Hotspur end a turbulent season by hosting Brighton & Hove Albion in the Premier League final on Sunday. Lilywhites fans revelled after the team finally broke their 17-year trophy drought, with Fabian Helzler's side still able to play in the English Football Association Championship under very special circumstances.

Although Spurs have often been heavily criticised for going for the attack when they needed to go for it this season, they took control in a way that would have made Mourinho extremely proud, defeating a meek Manchester United and earning Champions League qualification. Spurs will be playing in the Champions League again next season, and most fans should forgive them for their worst Premier League season in their history, with the Lilywhites still likely to finish the season in 17th place in the table. However, finishing 17th, playing in the Champions League and winning a trophy is undoubtedly more desirable than finishing sixth and without major honours, and if Sunday's game is indeed Postecoglou's last game at Tottenham, then 'Big Angie' will know that he has achieved something that Mourinho, Antonio Conte or Mauricio Pochettino could not achieve in north London.

At the other end of the managerial experience spectrum, Brighton's Helzler could still lead the Seagulls to the English Premier League next season, and the visiting fans are doing a lot of thinking ahead to the final day of the season. Brighton are currently three points ahead of ninth-placed Brentford, but too far behind seventh-placed Nottingham Forest, so Brighton must pick up at least one point at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium to finish eighth, which would be enough to qualify for Europe in certain circumstances. Firstly, the Seagulls require Chelsea to finish seventh, or the Blues to finish sixth and EFL Cup winners Newcastle to finish seventh, while also requiring Enzo Maresca's side to beat Real Betis in the English Premier League final next Wednesday night.

As Brighton fans anxiously await updates from other teams, the players have a task at hand, but they haven't been bad in Europe in recent weeks, picking up 10 points from their last 12 games and beating champions Liverpool 3-2 on Monday night. Coincidentally, the Seagulls beat Tottenham by the same scoreline earlier this season, but they have lost seven of their last eight league away games to Spurs, and Spurs supporters shouldn't lose sleep over the result of Sunday's game.

Tottenham Hotspur predicted starting lineup:

Kinski; Spence, Danso, Davies, Reguilon; Odobert, Gray, Bissouma, Moore; Ter, Son Heung-min

Brighton predicted starting lineup:

Verbruggen; Weaver, Webster, Van Herk, Estupinan; Baleba, Ayari; Minter, Gruda, Mithoma; Welbeck
