Guler stood out as the driving force, displaying relentless energy while his teammates seemed passive. Earlier in the week, Carlo Ancelotti chose to position the natural left winger in a central role, and his decision proved wise. Guler navigated the field brilliantly, exploiting spaces and angles with his precise left foot, scoring the opener with a curling shot into the top corner in the 33rd minute after a sluggish start for Madrid.

Mbappe added magic with a stunning run to make it 2-0, blasting the ball into the top corner. He doubled his tally shortly after halftime, calmly finishing Guler's angled through ball past the goalkeeper.

Defensive errors cost Madrid control, as Lucas Vazquez's poor clearance allowed Javi Rodriguez an easy tap-in.
