With Emerson Royal returning to training after a three-month absence, and following Kyle Walker's recovery, AC Milan could field a full-strength squad for Monday's game, although Luka Jovic's participation remains in doubt due to a back issue.

Recently recalled to lead Sergio Conceicao's new 3-4-3 formation, the Serbian striker is dealing with a back problem, so Tammy Abraham and Santiago Gimenez are on standby to start.

Having reached double figures in Serie A goals this season, Christian Pulisic is expected to join Rafael Leao in the attack. The USA international scored the only goal during his last visit to Stadio Luigi Ferraris in October 2023.

Meanwhile, Genoa's key player Andrea Pinamonti has not scored in nine league games, marking his longest dry spell since the 2019-20 season, but he is still set to lead the line, potentially with support from former Milan player Junior Messias.

Genoa's injury list includes Maxwel Cornet, Caleb Ekuban, Hugo Cuenca, Jean Onana, Ruslan Malinovskyi, and Fabio Miretti, whose season ended due to a shoulder injury.

After being sent off on his full debut against Lazio last month, Danish defender Sebastian Otoa is available again following his suspension.

Genoa possible starting lineup:

Leali; Norton-Cuffy, De Winter, Vasquez, Martin; Frendrup, Masini, Thorsby; Messias, Pinamonti, Vitinha

AC Milan possible starting lineup:

Maignan; Tomori, Gabbia, Pavlovic; Jimenez, Fofana, Reijnders, Hernandez; Pulisic, Abraham, Leao
