One of La Liga giants Barcelona's emerging midfielders was spotted training alongside Hansi Flick's star-studded squad on Monday. That's Noah Darvich, the player in question.
Darvich, for those unfamiliar with his name, is a versatile 18-year-old midfielder who usually operates in an advanced role through the middle of the park.
The German currently plies his trade with Barca Atlètic, for whom he has made 17 appearances in the league this season.
Following the departure of Unai Hernández to Saudi Arabia in January, Darvich was called up to Barcelona's Champions League squad for the second half of the season.
And, as mentioned, the youngster was called up to the senior side two days before the Blaugrana's clash with Benfica.
As Diario Sport reports:
Darvich was the novelty of Monday's training session for Hansi Flick's team. We will have to see if this 'call-up' is permanent and if Darvich is included in the squad for Lisbon.
