Paris Saint-Germain came from two goals down to beat Manchester City 4-2 in the Champions League on Wednesday, leaving the English club outside the play-off places and in danger of elimination.
Goals from PSG's Ousmane Dembélé, Bradley Barcola, João Neves and Gonçalo Ramos turned the match on its head after City had taken the game by the scruff of the neck.
Substitute Jack Grealish and Erling Haaland scored in the 50th and 53rd minutes to give City a 2-0 lead, but the fans who braved the torrential rain at the Parc de Princes were treated to a brilliant comeback.
Dembélé latched onto Barcola's cross to head home in the 56th minute. Barcola equalised four minutes later when he pounced on the rebound after Désiré Doué's fierce shot had hit the crossbar.
PSG pinned City back and took the lead in the 78th minute when the visitors' backline struggled to deal with Vitinha's free-kick, allowing Neves to head in at the back post and Ramos added a fourth in stoppage time.
PSG move up to 22nd in the standings, while City, who lifted the Champions League trophy in 2023 but have won just two of their seven group games, dropped to 25th, one spot outside the play-off qualifying places.
City's defeat sets up a nerve-wracking final when they host Belgian side Club Brugge on 29 January. The top eight teams automatically qualify for the knockout stages, while the ninth to 24th-placed sides will compete in two-legged knockout play-offs for a place in the last 16.
PSG were the better side for the majority of the game and briefly celebrated a goal from Achraf Hakimi seconds before half-time that was ruled out for offside.
City looked to be continuing their revival after weeks of poor results when Grealish fired home the rebound from Bernardo Silva's shot and Haaland doubled the lead when Grealish's cross took a deflection and fell to the Norwegian, who slotted home from close range.
But PSG, who had squandered a three-goal lead against Feyenoord to draw 3-3 in November, now travel to VfB Stuttgart for their final league game of the campaign.
