Randal Kolo Muani is reportedly set to complete a Juventus loan move after Paris Saint-Germain parted ways with Juan Bernat.
According to Loic Tanzi, Bernat’s contract with the French champions was terminated by mutual consent, allowing him to secure a six-month deal with Villarreal, where he had been playing on loan since August 2024. The 31-year-old made 12 appearances for Villarreal across LaLiga and the Copa del Rey, providing one assist to date.
Meanwhile, Kolo Muani, who arrived in Turin last week and completed his medical, faced an unexpected delay in finalizing his transfer as PSG had reached their maximum limit of players allowed to be loaned out abroad, making it legally impossible to release another player until space was freed. With Bernat’s exit now confirmed, Juventus can complete the registration of Kolo Muani in time for their crucial Serie A clash against Napoli.
Signed for a staggering €90 million (£76m/$94m) in the summer of 2023, Kolo Muani has struggled to establish himself in PSG’s star-studded squad. Over the past five matches, the striker has featured for just 78 minutes, underlining his reduced role in Luis Enrique’s plans. Seeking more game time and a fresh opportunity to showcase his talent, the move to Juventus represents a pivotal moment for the French forward.
The loan to Juventus offers Kolo Muani a fresh platform to reignite his career and emerge as a potential candidate for the French national team for the 2026 World Cup. His journey starts with a critical league encounter against leaders Napoli on Saturday.
