The 49ers lost another heartbreaker on Sunday, as the team fell to the Seahawks 20-17 after allowing a last-second touchdown. That was amid another injury-riddled week, as George Kittle (hamstring) missed his first game of the season and Nick Bosa (oblique) exited early, adding to the long list of 49ers injuries.
That list got even longer on Monday, as San Francisco revealed that Brock Purdy is dealing with an injury following Sunday's game. The 49ers have another crucial game this week, as they are set to play the 6-4 Packers this Sunday.
Brock Purdy injury update
The 49ers added Purdy to the injury report on Monday, listing their starting quarterback with right shoulder soreness. However, head coach Kyle Shanahan didn't seem too worried, calling Purdy "day-to-day" with the injury.
It's unclear when Purdy suffered the injury, as he played the entire game on Sunday against the Seahawks without appearing to be limited by his right shoulder.
He will be monitored throughout the week in practice, but for now, he looks more probable than questionable for Sunday's game.
