Turkish Super Lig side Galatasaray are reportedly looking to a Chinese financial institution for support in securing the signature of Super Eagles’ Victor Osimhen, Soccernet.ng reports.
Osimhen and Napoli’s relationship went sour in the 2023-24 season campaign. Following this, the Nigeria international secured a season-long loan move away from the Diego Maradona Stadium to join the Turkish side.
Meanwhile, Osimhen’s recent performance in Galatasaray, scoring eight goals in his nine appearances for the club, has returned the Super Eagles talisman to the centre of a transfer tussle between potential suitors.
The Turkish giants do not seem to have enough money to meet Napoli’s price tag on Osimhen but are looking for alternatives to extend the stay of the 25-year-old in Turkey.
Earlier reports revealed that the Yellow Reds were looking to table Yunus Akgun to reduce the cash they would pay to secure the Nigerian services on a permanent deal.
Meanwhile, the latest report has suggests that Galatasaray are sourcing funds to meet the demands for the 2023 AFCON silver medalist and be among the major contenders.
Although Osimhen, having connected with the Galatasaray fans, seems to be someone who could extend his stay in Turkey due to the love from the Turkish people.
