Harry Kane achieved his 60th Bundesliga goal in his 60th match, playing a key role in Bayern Munich's 4-0 win against Heidenheim and moving closer to reclaiming the league title.

He netted the first goal with a precise low shot from outside the penalty area in the 13th minute, edging toward his first major team trophy in a career defined by individual scoring feats.

Kane is the fastest player to reach 60 goals in Bundesliga history, surpassing Erling Haaland's record of 65 games at Borussia Dortmund.

Bayern previously led 2-0 in Heidenheim but collapsed to a 3-2 loss, which contributed to losing the title to Leverkusen last season. This time, they maintained control throughout.

Konrad Laimer scored the second goal on a counter-attack six minutes after Kane's opener, and Kane assisted in the build-up as Kingsley Coman made it 3-0 in the 36th minute from a rebound after Raphael Guerreiro's shot was saved.

Joshua Kimmich added the fourth goal in the second half.

Bayern now lead by nine points over second-placed Bayer Leverkusen, who play St Pauli on Sunday, with four games left in the season.
