It looks like Juventus might make a move for Leverkusen's Patrick Schick in January. They're interested in the player and could make a key transfer. It looks like Juventus is keen to sign a striker during the winter transfer window.
Schick hasn't been a key member of the Leverkusen team this season, so his team is currently looking at other options. This season, the Czech striker has played 14 times for Leverkusen and scored 4 goals, but only started 5 games, and is behind Boniface in the striker position.
Schick has spent some time in Italy, playing for Sampdoria and Roma. Before he joined Roma, the player failed a medical at Juventus. Ultimately, Schick ended up at Roma, but it seems he wasn't quite settled in. He didn't even manage to score more than 10 goals in two seasons.
For Cristiano Guentoli, Schick is now a real possibility. The next few days will be key to figuring out if this transfer can go ahead, as Leverkusen isn't opposed to the player leaving in January.
There's a chance the loan could go ahead and the German club might be okay with it, but we'll have to wait and see. Juventus are looking to loan players because they have other positions in their squad that need to be adjusted.
