Serie A side Roma are ready to join the race to offer Real Madrid prodigy André Enderrick a new challenge in the January transfer window.
Enderrick only joined Real Madrid this summer but has been linked with a loan move as he's having trouble getting on the pitch at the Bernabéu. According to the Daily Sport, Southampton, who are having a tough time in the Premier League, are interested in the Brazilian, while Roma are also looking to ask Real Madrid for a January loan.
Roma have just appointed Claudio Ranieri as head coach until the end of the season and are looking to give their attack a boost. The Italian is on the lookout for young, exciting players and thinks Enderrick would be a great addition to the team.
However, they might have some competition to sign him, with La Liga side Real Valladolid, now owned by former Real Madrid striker Ronaldo, also interested. I think staying in Spain and getting used to the La Liga style of play would be a good move for Enderrick.
Enderique has only played 56 minutes off the bench in eight La Liga appearances for Real Madrid so far this season, with the club also signing Kylian Mbappe in the summer.
Enderique has only been used sparingly by Ancelotti and it looks like he'll be on the bench again when Real Madrid take on Leganés in La Liga on Sunday. We'll have to wait and see if the youngster looks for a move in January to get more playing time. If he does, he'll probably get a lot of offers.
