Germany were the clear winners in Freiburg, with Bosnia and Herzegovina unable to cope with their dominant performance.
The home team were in the lead after just two minutes when Jamal Musiala scored, and then Florian Wirtz, Tim Kleindienst, Kai Havertz and Leroy Sané all scored too, which meant that the opposition was completely defeated. Germany will be the group winners now that they've won the match.
Germany have secured their place in the UEFA Nations League quarter-finals, with a 7-0 win over Bosnia & Herzegovina.
Julian Nagelsmann's team now have a five-point lead at the top of the table thanks to some great performances from their starting front four, who each scored a goal on a comfortable evening in Freiburg.
Bosnia – who were relegated to League B and needed at least a point in Freiburg to keep their hopes of League A survival alive – had a terrible start, with Jamal Musiala scoring the first goal just two minutes in.
Things got worse for Sergej Barbarez's side midway through the first half when Tim Kleindienst scored from Robert Andrich's effort, making it his first international goal, before Kai Havertz made it three.
Bayer Leverkusen's Florian Wirtz was on fire after the break, scoring a brace in seven minutes. First, he nailed a 25-yard free kick. Then, he tapped in from close range after Havertz was denied.
Germany, who haven't lost a game since their Euro 2024 quarter-final exit (W4, D1), finished off a great night's work as substitute Leroy Sané scored the team's sixth goal and Kleindienst made it seven with a goal 11 minutes from the end of the game.
Nagelsmann was only concerned about Joshua Kimmich's late substitution due to an apparent injury, but the Bayern Munich defender seemed to walk off the pitch without issues.
Kleindienst was a real handful up top tonight, scoring his first two goals in a Germany shirt. But Stuttgart forward Jamie Leweling was the star of the show in their 1-0 win over the Netherlands last time out, while Deniz Undav finished as Germany's joint top scorer with three goals in two Nations League matches.
The future looks bright for German football thanks to a selection of forwards who have impressed in their respective domestic campaigns. They provide plenty of support to players like Wirtz and Musiala, who are well on their way to becoming world-class talents.
Germany have been seriously impressive post-Euro 2024, and Nagelsmann has not just been relying on his big stars to get to the top of the league.
