Liverpool's forward Mohamed Salah and Manchester United's captain Bruno Fernandes are among the nominees for the 2024-25 Men's PFA Player of the Year award.
The award is determined by votes from fellow players at the end of each season, with the winner to be revealed at a ceremony at Manchester Opera House on August 19.
Midfielders Alexis Mac Allister and Declan Rice are also in the running after exceptional seasons with Liverpool and Arsenal, respectively. Chelsea's Cole Palmer and Newcastle United's Alexander Isak round out the six-man shortlist.
Salah, who previously claimed the award in 2017-18 and 2021-22, is the leading favorite this year following a stellar season with Liverpool, where he scored 29 league goals and provided 18 assists to help Arne Slot's team secure the Premier League title.
His teammate Mac Allister is recognized for his crucial contributions to Liverpool's title victory, with the Argentina international featuring in 35 league appearances last season.
Portugal international Fernandes has secured a nomination based on his outstanding individual performances, despite Manchester United's struggles in the league.
The 30-year-old recorded eight league goals and ten assists for his team during the campaign and became the player with the most goal contributions in UEFA Europa League history after leading his side to the final.
Last season's Young Player of the Year, Cole Palmer, has now been nominated for the main award after scoring 15 Premier League goals, aiding Chelsea in qualifying for next season's Champions League.
Meanwhile, Newcastle's Alexander Isak earns his first PFA Players' Player of the Year nomination after an impressive campaign, netting 23 league goals and helping Eddie Howe's team claim their first major trophy in over 50 years by scoring in the League Cup final at Wembley.
Completing the list is England international Declan Rice, who achieved a personal best of nine goals in a single season for Arsenal, along with ten assists across 52 matches in all competitions.
