Real Betis may face strong competition from Como in their bid to sign the winger, as Fabrizio Romano has reported that the Serie A club has made several attempts to acquire the Brazilian in recent days after his successful loan spell in Seville.
Romano detailed on YouTube that Como is seriously pursuing Antony, who still prefers returning to Real Betis. Despite Antony's inclination toward Los Verdiblancos, Como remains patient and is actively working behind the scenes to secure the former Ajax player by presenting their vision and engaging with his inner circle about a potential move to Italy.
Manchester United is aware of Antony's desire to return to La Liga, but no agreement has been reached with Betis yet. The Andalusian club is in discussions with United to clarify their demands and is considering either a permanent transfer for a reported £30 million (€35m/$41m) or another loan deal.
Antony is eager to stay at the Benito Villamarin Stadium, where he regained his form with nine goals in 26 appearances. However, Como could sway the 25-year-old with their exciting project led by Cesc Fabregas. In any event, a departure from Old Trafford appears likely.
