Official announcement from Leverkusen:
The club has signed French U18 international Tape Kobrisa. The 17-year-old will transfer from Paris Saint-Germain to Leverkusen in the 2025-26 season. Tape just won the French U19 championship with the Paris youth team last weekend.
Leverkusen sporting director Rolfes described Tape as "an all-around defender, an excellent football player with speed, athleticism and excellent game IQ".
He said: "We see great potential in Tape, and his free signing is an important part of our future-oriented squad planning in the long run."
Tappe said: "When a top German club like Leverkusen shows interest in you, it is very easy to choose to go abroad now. In recent years, the football style of this club has fascinated me. I am full of expectations and motivation for the challenge at Leverkusen."
