Manchester City is pleased to announce the signing of Dutch international Tijjani Reijnders from AC Milan on a five-year contract. The 26-year-old midfielder joins after two impressive seasons with the Italian club.

Reijnders, a dynamic and technically gifted player capable of excelling in both attacking and defensive roles, was named Serie A Midfielder of the Season for 2024/25. This recognition came after he scored 15 goals in 54 appearances - doubling his previous single-season goal record - while demonstrating exceptional all-round ability in one of Europe's most demanding leagues. His performances showcased outstanding passing, dribbling, and long-range shooting skills.

Before joining AC Milan, Reijnders began his professional career at PEC Zwolle before establishing himself as a key player for AZ Alkmaar. Since breaking through during the 2020/21 season with AZ, he has gained extensive experience at both club and international levels. The midfielder made his Netherlands debut in 2023 and featured in all six of his nation's matches at UEFA Euro 2024, helping the Oranje reach the semifinals.

Reijnders will now be eligible to represent Manchester City in this summer's FIFA Club World Cup in the United States.
