Milan goalkeeper Mike Maignan is expected to receive an offer from Premier League side Chelsea in the near future, and has already given his approval to the move, which leaves the Rossoneri looking at Torino’s Vanja Milinkovic-Savic to replace him, Football Italia understands.
Maignan is due to enter the final year of his contract with Milan in 2025-26, with an expiry date of June 30, 2026. As things stand, there has been no agreement over an extension to the goalkeeper’s current contract.
Football Italia can confirm that Chelsea have been considering an approach for the 29-year-old stopper, and that a formal offer is expected to arrive in the near future.
Maignan has already given his approval over a move away from San Siro.
The Frenchman has been with the Rossoneri for four years, since the summer of 2021, and has won the Serie A title (2021-22) and the Supercoppa Italiana (2025) during that period.
It is understood that Torino’s Milinkovic-Savic is currently being evaluated as a replacement in the event that Maignan leaves Milan this summer.
