Malmö will approach the weekend without their key midfielder Lasse Johnsen, who is serving a one-match suspension, while Erik Botheim, Stefano Holmquist, Pontus Jansson, and Gentian Lajqi continue to be sidelined due to injuries.

With Botheim unavailable, Isaac Kiese Thelin will lead the attack, having scored seven goals this season, though only two in the Allsvenskan so far.

Anders Christiansen may pair with Otto Rosengren in midfield to replace Johnsen, allowing Sead Haksabanovic to feature in the attacking line from the start.

Häcken could field the same lineup as in the Svenska Cupen final, as Abdoulaye Faye, Johan Hammar, Srdja Hrstic, Zeidane Inoussa, Jacob Laursen, Amor Layouni, Julius Lindberg, Leo Vaisanen, and Brice Wembangomo remain on the injury list.

Without their top scorers Hrstic and Layouni, Simon Gustafson is expected to lead the attack once more, with Severin Nioule and Isak Brusberg potentially joining him in a front three.

Samuel Leach Holm provides additional attacking options from midfield, having netted four goals in the last three Allsvenskan matches, while Silas Andersen is set to partner Marius Lode in defense.

Malmö possible starting lineup:

Ellborg; Stryger, Lewicki, Rosler, Busanello; Rosengren, Christiansen; Ali, Haksabanovic, Bolin; Kiese

Häcken possible starting lineup:

Berisha; Ohman, Andersen, Lode, Lundkvist; Rygaard, Holm, Dahbo; Brusberg, Gustafson, Nioule
