Manchester United officially confirms that Lindelof, Evans, and Eriksen will depart at the end of the season.
Among the three, Lindelof has the most appearances for Manchester United, having played 284 games since joining from Benfica in the summer of 2017. During his tenure, he won the FA Cup and the League Cup with the team.
Evans has served the club for over a decade in two stints as a first-team player, epitomizing loyalty.
He graduated from Manchester United's youth academy and made his first-team debut against Coventry in the autumn of 2007. In the 2012/13 season, he partnered with Rio Ferdinand to form a championship-level defense, helping the team win their most recent Premier League title. He returned in the summer of 2023 as the captain of Northern Ireland.
In his 241 appearances for Manchester United, he won 3 Premier League titles, 1 UEFA Champions League, 1 Club World Cup, and 1 League Cup. Last year, he came on as a substitute in the FA Cup final, adding another trophy to his cabinet.
The Danish midfielder Eriksen made 107 appearances for the team over three seasons at Old Trafford. Early in his tenure, Eriksen became a regular starter; although he missed the League Cup final due to injury, he still received a winners' medal. Subsequently, he won the FA Cup the following year.
In today's match against Aston Villa, Bruno Fernandes let him take the penalty, and Eriksen scored it confidently, putting a perfect end to his farewell performance.
