Goals from Kylian Mbappé and Jude Bellingham in the second half secured a 2-0 win for a depleted Real Madrid at Sevilla, who finished the game with nine men following straight red cards for Loïc Badé and Isaac Romero.

With leaders Barcelona having already secured the title on Thursday with a 2-0 win against city rivals Espanyol, giving them an unassailable lead with two games left to play, Real Madrid went into the match missing several regular starters, including Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo.

Sevilla were a man down after 11 minutes when Badé held Mbappé back to prevent a quick counter-attack. The referee deemed it a clear scoring opportunity for Real and showed the French defender a straight red card.

Despite dominating possession, Real struggled to create many chances, with Mbappé and Endrick missing clear opportunities before half-time.

Sevilla had a second player sent off three minutes after half-time when substitute Isaac Romero received a straight red card for a studs-up tackle on Aurélien Tchouaméni.

Five minutes after hitting the crossbar with a shot in the 70th minute, Mbappé finally broke the deadlock by slotting a low strike from outside the box just inside the right post.

Mbappé is close to becoming LaLiga's top scorer in his first season at Real Madrid, with 29 goals — four ahead of Barcelona striker Robert Lewandowski.

In the 87th minute, 21-year-old Real Madrid academy forward Gonzalo García crossed for Bellingham to tap in from close range, securing the win for the visitors.

Ahead of the final weekend of the season, Barcelona are top of the table with 85 points, four ahead of Real Madrid in second place. Atlético Madrid are in third place with 73 points. Athletic Bilbao (70 points) and Villarreal (67 points) complete the top five and will represent Spain in the Champions League next season.
