According to Saudi media arriyadiyah, Laporte's current contract expires in the summer of 2026, but Al Nassr FC has decided to reach a financial termination agreement with the player in advance.

The club has initiated the termination procedure and Laporte may transfer to the French Ligue 1 team Marseille.
