Daniels is the fifth player in NBA history to average at least 14 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists, and 3 steals per game in a season. The previous four were "Magic" Johnson, Michael Jordan, Michael Ray Richardson, and Ervin Robertson. Daniels is also the first player to average at least 3 steals per game in a single season since Ervin Robertson in the 1990-91 season.

Compared with last season, Daniels has made significant progress in the five main statistics of scoring (+8.3 points), rebounding (+2.0), assists (+1.7 times), steals (+1.6 times), and blocks (+0.3 times). In addition, Daniels' shooting (+4.6%) and three-point shooting percentage (+2.9%) have also improved significantly.
