MLS side D.C. United holds the discovery rights to free agent Paul Pogba, according to reports from The Athletic.
MLS discovery rights enable teams to list up to five players, granting them the first opportunity to negotiate with those players.
D.C. United is reportedly engaged in discussions for a possible deal with Pogba, who became a free agent after his Juventus contract ended due to a doping ban.
Pogba received a four-year doping suspension in March 2024, but he can return to play after the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) shortened it to 18 months.
The 32-year-old has attended several MLS games since his last professional match in September 2023.
GIVEMESPORT reports that D.C. United had informal discussions with the Frenchman two months ago, as he is acquainted with the club's owner Jason Levien.
However, the talks are not advanced, and no formal offer has been made.
On Monday night, KSI disclosed that the former Manchester United midfielder is negotiating to participate in the Baller League.
Speaking on Sky Sports, KSI stated: "Pogba, he is a free agent. We are in talks."
