Ahead of the UEFA Champions League quarter-final first leg against Aston Villa FC on Wednesday 9th April at 9pm at the Parc des Princes, the Paris Saint-Germain striker Désiré Doué appeared at the press conference and answered questions from PSG TV. Here are some extracts.
-About Tomorrow‘s match
‘As soon as we got back to training, we got back into it. We're taking this match very seriously and we're going to play to win. We're focused, we know what we have to do and tomorrow will be the time to play a great match.’
-About Current form
‘I analyse my matches and training sessions a lot. I try to keep a certain discipline and I hope that all that will take me to the highest level. Now, I'm feeling better and better in this team. We're doing very well, so I'm very happy. The most important thing is to perform by scoring or assisting goals.'
-About His development within the club
‘I'm trying to improve every day. There are a lot of great players in this team, and they help me a lot. Paris Saint-Germain is a club that makes a lot of young people, a lot of players, dream. For me, it's a great project.'
-About Aston Villa
‘When you reach the quarter-finals of the Champions League, it's not a matter of chance. I don't know if we can talk about favourites. If Aston Villa are here, it's because they deserve to be. They're a very good team with some very good players.'
