Andoni Iraola says he is happy at Bournemouth but did not offer any guarantees over his future amid reported interest from Tottenham.
Reports have claimed Iraola would be Spurs' top target if they decided to move on from Ange Postecoglou.
The head of Bournemouth's ownership group Black Knight Football, Tim Bezbatchenko, told The Athletic this week that Iraola's ambitions would be matched as speculation builds around the head coach.
But Iraola swerved direct questioning about Spurs and his future ahead of Sunday's huge FA Cup quarter-final against Man City.
"I want to do my job the best I can," said Iraola when asked if he can achieve his goals at Bournemouth.
"If I don't do the job very well, they will find someone else who does the job and it's like this in every job.
"I'm really happy here. We have a great opportunity to go to semi-finals for the first time in our history and it would be amazing for me personally, and for the club to achieve new heights.
"But we know that we have to be also realistic, that there are better teams than us and we have to fight against teams that are very good and we will try to give the best level we have."
