Sudan's impressive run in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers continued as the civil war-torn nation held Senegal to a 0-0 draw on neutral turf.
Sadio Mane came closest to breaking the deadlock in the second half in Benina, Libya, but his chip attempt was saved by Sudan goalkeeper Mohamed Mostafa before a defender blocked his follow-up.
Mostafa then made a fine low save to keep out Cherif Ndiaye's header.
Sudan could have taken all three points themselves when Walieldin Khedr fired wide of the post early in the second half.
Jediane's Falcons sit one point clear of DR Congo at the top of Group B, with Senegal a point behind.
Only the group winners are guaranteed a place at next year's 48-team finals.
The top four teams from each of the nine groups will compete in play-offs for a place in an intercontinental tournament to determine the final qualifiers.
