According to TuttoJuve, only by qualifying for the UEFA Champions League next season can Juventus avoid large-scale staff cuts.
Previously, the transfer window led by Juventus' sporting director, Cristiano Giuntoli, aimed to kickstart a new project. However, considering the so far unsatisfactory season, the cost of this project is extremely high.
In fact, Juventus has already spent nearly 400 million euros to assemble the current squad coached by Italian coach Luigi De Canio (including potential buyout fees for some loaned players). Only achieving the minimum goal of the Bianconeri, which is to qualify for the UEFA Champions League next season, can prevent cost and technical cuts as well as significant staff layoffs.
