Udinese beat Lecce 1-0 away in Serie A on Friday, but the match was full of drama.

Captain Florian Thauvin was Udinese's regular penalty taker, but Lucca snatched the ball and pushed away his teammates who came to persuade him. Udinese players protested against the former Pisa and Ajax striker, and the penalty was delayed for a long time.

Lucca kept his composure and scored his third goal in five games without hesitation. But his teammates were puzzled by Lucca's behavior and did not celebrate the goal together.

Moments later, Udinese coach Costa Lengjajic replaced him with nine minutes left in the first half, and Claudio Bravo came on as a substitute.

The goal gave Udinese another three points, and Udinese has now gone four games unbeaten after a five-match winless run from Christmas to the end of January.

Lecce, however, closed the gap to ninth-placed Roma to one point, remaining in 15th place, five points above the relegation zone.
