Chelsea are in talks with Tottenham Hotspur and Aston Villa about a possible loan deal for Axel Disasi, according to Sky Sports.

The 26-year-old centre-back joined Chelsea in 2023 for £38.5m, but has struggled to hold down a regular place in the side.

Speaking after Spurs' 2-0 win over Brentford on Sunday, Ange Postecoglou responded to his side's links with the defender: “I’ve been busy for the last couple of hours, mate! I’ll check my phone when I get back in the room..."

Spurs signed Kevin Danso from Lens on Sunday, but are also looking for another central defender before Monday's deadline.
