Andrew Omobamidele, the Irish international defender, has joined Strasbourg on loan until the end of the season with an option to buy. He will also become the first Irish player to play for Strasbourg.

He was considered one of the brightest prospects in Irish football and subsequently moved to Forest in the summer of 2023, where he made 15 appearances and scored 1 goal.
