Real Madrid forward Vinicius has expressed his intention to fully support this season's new signing, forward Kylian Mbappé.
Vinicius, who was Real Madrid's ace last season, and Mbappé, who joined this season with much fanfare. There are doubts as to whether they can truly coexist as they both lead the team's offense, but at least there doesn't seem to be any conflict in terms of egos.
In an interview with Spain's Movistar Plus, Vinicius expressed his intention to help Mbappe score the most goals.
"Kilian has come to help Real Madrid and we want to help him become the top scorer in all competitions."
Real Madrid have not been able to produce results in big games this season, suffering two crushing defeats in the Clasico, but Vinicius seems to believe that he and his teammates can get back on track with manager Carlo Ancelotti.
“The manager has had a really long career and knows how to handle the team when things are not going well. But this group is very easy to handle because everyone helps each other. I want to build an era here."
Furthermore, Vinicius is still rumored to be moving to Saudi Arabia, but he declares, ``What about the future? Real Madrid.''
