How do you see your future? Do you feel you provide balance to Roma's game?

“I'm really happy at Roma and there are no problems with the club. With regard to my renewal, the club is speaking to my agent. I'm just focusing on performing as well as I can in every game.

“As for my position, I started out as a box-to-box midfielder and that's the position I feel most comfortable in but I can play between two defensive midfielders or further forward as well. There's no problem either way. I always try to carry out what the boss asks of me.”

You had four different coaches in 2024. What did they all teach you?

“I'm thankful to all four of them. What I've learnt from them is that training is a massive part of the game: the way you train is the way you play. That's why I try to give 100% in every training session.”

What has Ranieri changed mentality-wise?

“With his experience he's brought a sense of calm and he gives us a bit more freedom to play and express ourselves. I think that's important to all of us.”
