Ange Postecoglou says it is possible Tottenham do not make any furthersignings before the transfer window closes.

Spurs are understood to be keen to sign a forward, but nothing has materialised yet.

Asked in his pre-Europa League press conference if there is a chance Spurs do not sign anyone, Postecoglou said: "Yeah, potentially. The club is working hard to get some help for the players.

"As far as I'm aware there's nothing imminent but in the last week of the window things happen quickly.”

Tottenham play German side Hoffenheim on Thursday.

They signed goalkeeper Antonin Kinsky earlier in the window from Slavia Prague.
