Latest News: Enzo Maresca dropped a bombshell injury update on Friday, saying that Romeo Lavia, Enzo Fernandez, Levi Colwill and Cole Palmer are all concerns for Monday's clash with Wolverhampton Wanderers. Maresca said that the four players didn't train on Friday but implied that they were suffering from minor issues/knocks (on Palmer: "They kick him"). Given that a generous six days separate Gameweeks 21 and 22, you'd like to think that any impact injuries would be recoverable from. Away from those four, Wesley Fofana (hamstring), Benoit Badiashile (unknown) and Mykhailo Mudryk (suspended) remain sidelined and doubts remain about Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall (unknown) - and he likely won't get a game regardless of fitness. Reece James is pushing for a start after a goalscoring cameo in Gameweek 21, with Maresca saying that his 45 minutes against Morecambe in the FA Cup were evidence that he is physically able to start a match - although the Chelsea boss did stress that care would continue to be taken. Malo Gusto is an alternative, should Maresca want to push Moises Caicedo back into a more orthodox midfield position. Tosin Adarabioyo could also come back into contention at centre-half, with Josh Acheampong making way - if Colwill is fit.

Latest News: Having just returned from suspension and injury, Matheus Cunha is now ill. The Brazilian striker missed training on Friday but Vitor Pereira said he could still feature against Chelsea, what with the Monday game giving him an extra couple of days to recover. Elsewhere, Sasa Kalajdzic (knee), Yerson Mosquera (knee), Toti Gomes (hamstring) and Enso Gonzalez (knee) remain out but Boubacar Traore (knee) is back on the grass after a long-term lay-off. The wantaway Mario Lemina could even be involved in the matchday squad, having apologised to his teammates after asking to be left out of the midweek defeat at Newcastle. Nelson Semedo could be restored to the starting XI after only being fit enough for bench duty in Gameweek 21, while Cunha will surely oust Hwang Hee-Chan if illness isn't still an issue come Monday night. After successive 3-0 defeats, there is also the option of bringing Craig Dawson back in at centre-half for Santiago Bueno.
