Eddie Howe is hopeful Martin Dubravka could still sign a new contract at Newcastle.
The 35-year-old Slovakia international has been heavily linked with a January move to Saudi Pro League side Al Shabab as he enters the final six months of his contract on Tyneside.
Dubravka's name was chanted loudly by fans during their 3-1 win over Bromley while a rousing rendition of: "Oh Martin Dubravka, we want you to stay".
Howe said: “I’m hopeful everything will die down and that he’s part of our future. We hope he may agree a new contract and stay.”
